Torque Wrench Calibration Services

Your torque wrench may be providing erroneous information because the spring and internal mechanism can wear or loosen over time from normal usage. At least every twelve months or after 5,000 cycles, it will need to be professionally re-calibrated to ensure torque values are accurate. Unfortunately, in some cases, your torque wrench may not be able to be adjusted back within manufacturer's specifications and will need to be replaced. Torque wrenches are only as good as they can be maintained of their accuracy. An out-of-tune torque wrench can result in many dollars of damage to machinery and equipment. Your torque wrench needs to go to a place (like CIH Equipment) that can guarantee the accuracy of the calibration to National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST).
Our lab is A2LA ISO 17025-2017 accredited and complies with the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, ISO 9001, 10CFR50 Appendix B. All of our standards are NIST traceable. Each calibration comes with a certificate and supporting data.
CIH Equipment can calibrate your torque testing equipment in our environmentally controlled lab. We have the capability to calibrate your Beam Type Torque Wrenches, Dial Torque Wrenches, Clicker Torque Wrenches, Torque Screwdrivers, Single Set Torque Wrenches, Torque Multipliers, and Torque Watches up to 2,000 foot-pounds. We also have the capability to calibrate your Torque Analyzers, Torque Transducers and Rotary Torque Analyzers using our certified Torque Arms and Weights up to 2,000 foot-pounds.
