Force Gauge Calibration

In a world of push carts, dollies, and manual moving equipment, moving heavy load is not always easy. If you ever had to move a cart with 500 pounds on it, you know exactly what I am talking about. So, how much is too much to load on a cart? What effects will a day of pushing and pulling on that load have on a worker? Low back disorders can be avoided if we can measure physical abilities against the amount of force necessary to move equipment. This is why an accurate push pull gauge (force gauge) is a necessary measuring tool in the material handling workforce. The measurements and data are used to measure, analyze, and reduce risks while improving health and productivity.

Force Gauge Calibration at CIH Equipment Company

Gauge accuracy is checked periodically to ensure it is within calibration limits. Force gauges are calibrated using certified master load cells. We use a motorized UTM with variable feed speed for precise measurement. Multiple load points are specified during the calibration process which can help ensure linear accuracy.
