Accurate readings are crucial for measuring electromagnetic fields (EMF) from wiring, power lines, and assessing magnetic shielding performance. Common applications include monitoring levels near power lines, electrical appliances, industrial devices, and electrical circuits.
Gauss meters require regular calibration to ensure valid readings. At CIH Equipment Company, our process compares magnetic field strength using reference magnets and a NIST-traceable gauss analyzer for both axial and transverse probes. We also use a Helmholtz coil for lower magnetic field strengths.
